Hellpdesk privacy policy
Last updated 25 October 2026
Hellpdesk is a satirical social media account: "Hell's customer support desk". It posts on Facebook, Instagram, Threads, Bluesky, X, TikTok and YouTube. One person runs it, with an app on their own computer that writes posts and replies with the help of AI. Powered by SI (Satanic Intelligence). This page explains what that app does with information about you.
What the app reads
- Comments and replies that people leave on Hellpdesk's own posts, and on Bluesky, posts that mention Hellpdesk.
- For each one: the text, when it was posted, and the public name, username or ID the platform shows with it.
- On Bluesky, also which accounts like, repost, quote, reply to or follow Hellpdesk: their public handle and name, and for reposts and quotes, how many followers they have.
The app does not read private messages (except the operator's own messages to the Hellpdesk Facebook Page, when the operator turns on their status check-in), anyone's friend or follower lists, or anything else about people beyond what's listed above. It does not use cookies or tracking. Hellpdesk's website, hellpdesk.com, has its own privacy policy; from it, the app reads only daily totals of clicks on the links to Hellpdesk's social accounts (which account, where on the page, which day), with nothing about who clicked.
What it's used for
- Deciding whether to reply, and writing a reply in Hellpdesk's satirical voice.
- Keeping to Hellpdesk's limits, such as how many replies one person gets in a day.
- Seeing how Hellpdesk's posts are doing.
- Noticing when someone may be going through something hard. Those comments are never answered by the app; they are shown to the person who runs Hellpdesk.
YouTube
The app uses YouTube API Services to upload Hellpdesk's own short videos to Hellpdesk's own YouTube channel, and to read that channel's numbers: its details and videos, each video's processing status and counts (views, likes, comments), and YouTube Analytics totals such as watch time, shares and subscribers gained. It doesn't read comments on YouTube, or anything about the people who watch.
It signs in as the channel's owner, with access the owner gave through Google's own sign-in. That access is kept only on the operator's computer (Windows Credential Manager) and is never shared. The numbers it reads are kept there to show how Hellpdesk's videos are doing, and aren't shared with anyone either.
Using YouTube, including through this app, is subject to the YouTube Terms of Service, and Google handles YouTube data under the Google Privacy Policy. The channel's owner can remove the app's access at any time on the Google security settings page; it then stops uploading and reading.
Who else sees it
To sort a comment and draft a reply, its text (and the post it replies to) is sent to Anthropic's Claude API. Anthropic processes it under its commercial terms (anthropic.com/legal). Nothing is sold, shared with advertisers or used for advertising.
Hellpdesk's own post images and videos are stored for up to 30 days on Cloudflare R2 so that Instagram, Threads and Buffer (which publishes Hellpdesk's posts on X and TikTok) can fetch them. They contain no information about you.
How long it's kept
Comments the app has read, and Hellpdesk's replies, are kept on the operator's computer as a record of what was said, and so is what the app noted on Bluesky. They are deleted when you ask (below). Copies also sit in the app's backups, on the operator's computer and in their OneDrive (Microsoft), until those backups are deleted.
Deleting your data
You can delete your own comment on the platform at any time. To have the app's copy of anything you wrote deleted, send an email to hellpdeskagent666@gmail.com, saying which account is yours. It will be deleted within 30 days, and you'll get a reply when it's done.
